Recycling company wins the KTP Overall Winning Partnership Award 2011
The 2011 KTP Awards were held at Innovate ‘11, with Dr Vince Cable MP, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, presenting the Overall Winning Partnership to Dungannon-based Cherry Pipes Limited. The company is now one of the top plastics recycling companies in the UK, largely as a result of its partnership with Queen’s University Belfast, seeing its turnover treble to over £9 million.
Other winners included Bombardier Transportation UK (Business Impact Award), Aurora Medical (Engineering Excellence) and Graham Cockerham of Sheffield Hallam University (Academic Excellence).
Five KTP Associates were also recognised as Business Leaders of Tomorrow.
