Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is Europe's leading programme helping businesses to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance. KTP achieves this by helping businesses to access knowledge, technology and skills from the UK’s universities, further education (FE) colleges and research and technology organisations (RTO)

KTP is a UK-wide programme funded by 18 organisations and is headed by the Technology Strategy Board, a business-led, executive non-departmental public body.

The KTP Awards are held annually to honour and celebrate the best Knowledge Transfer Partnerships from the previous year and the winners of the accolade ‘Business Leaders of Tomorrow’.

This year’s awards saw a wide range of businesses benefiting from the power of collaboration and knowledge transfer that can be achieved through KTP, including charities, public sector organisations and scientific-based companies. The awards also recognised those that really make KTP work, the academics and advisers, who are instrumental in ensuring successful outcomes benefiting the UK’s wealth creation.
