They can be the first point of contact for a Business Adviser and for any company wanting to benefit from a Knowledge Transfer Partnership and are able to identify relevant academics by taking account of the subject of any project a company has in mind. If the appropriate expertise is not within their institution they will liaise with one of the other KTP Offices in the network or seek the help of a KTP Advisers.
